I didn’t Defect To Any Political Party– Wadada

By Our Reporter

The Hon. Ahmed Aliyu Wadada campaign organisation has described as fake the news that Hon Wadada has defected to APGA with a view to contest for the senatorial seat of Nasarawa West in the forthcoming general elections. The campaign organization similarly said the fake news was the handiwork of Wadada’s detractors determined to tarnish his image and reputation which he built over the years. And they will fail woefully, the statement added.
Umar Musa Aboki, Director, Wadada Media Strategy and Response Directorate, in a statement issued on Wednesday, stated that such negative messages in circulation across both mainstream and social media calculated to cast doubt in the minds of the teeming supporters of Hon. Wadada, is bound to fail.
Reacting to recent report published in a Lafia-based newspaper, suggesting that Hon. Wadada is leaving the All Progressives Congress (APC) for another party, Aboki dismissed the report as not true but another futile attempt by his traducers to cause confusion among his widespread supporters in the state.
According to the media aide, some of the aspirants contesting against Hon. Wadada have become jittery of his towering political profile, and have therefore hatched a plot to seek to diminish his grass root appeal.
“Aware of his general acceptance from all over the state, some politicians out of fear and envy, are spreading falsehood with a view to tarnishing the image of our aspirant.
“They have failed and they will continue to fail as Hon. Wadada remains committed to our great party, the APC and is set to clinch the ticket of the party come October 6, when the governorship primary election is scheduled to hold,” the statement further stated.
