We Must Live With One Another- Al-makura

Muslims and non Muslims in Nasarawa state have been enjoined to embrace peace and tolerate one another in the interest of progress and development in the state, similarly they were also asked to sustain the age-old tradition of harmonious coexistence.
Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura who made the plea in his Sallah message to the people of the state also stressed that the people of Nasarawa state have a long-standing tradition of people living in peace and harmony, based on the common values of human compassion, tolerance, mutual understanding and solidarity.
Al-Makura added, “We should never fall short of our reputation as an inclusive society, where all adherents of faiths continue to live in peace and harmony with each other and welcome with open arms all people who are displaced from places from far and near.
