Speaking exclusively with Nasarawa Eye shortly after an expanded APC stakeholders meeting held at Government House Lafia Wednesday, Alhaji Kigbu stressed that the decision to adopt indirect primaries were unanimous and expressed the confidence that the process would free and fair. His view was corroborated by another aspirant Hon Godiya Akwashiki . Yet another governorship aspirant, Hon Aliyu Wadada had told Nasarawa Eye earlier that he was comfortable with whatever method the party adopts. The APC stakeholders meeting which was attended by aspirants vying for various positions under the party as well as elected officials, was conducted amidst jokes and banters by the attendees. An insider, told Nasarawa Eye that the meeting was like a family affair. Analysts note this is contrary to the widely held view that such a meeting would be rancorous.
