As Governor Umaru Tanko Almakura is hell bent on either concessioning,or outright auctioning of the soon to be vacated governorship seat to the highest,not best bidder, events in the Nasarawa State Chapter of the ruling party,the APC, seem to be stranger than fiction, for many uninitiated observers of the unfolding dramatic escapades, who may be ignorant of the bizarre volte deface , by someone like Almakura, who was himself the greatest victim of the beastial impunity of PDP power and was miraculously rescued from its big jaws of annihilation by the sheer force of peoples power,galvanised by the potent audacity and talismanic magnetism of the omni directional sensory impact of PMB’s gravitational pull !

It is also incredulous that the same beneficiary of past political bonds and ‘esprit de corps’,that existed, to promote change in his favour,is the architect of its destruction, nay,thanks to the new found Governor Almakura’s political advisor and Pontius Pilate SSG, called a Barrister Emeritus, aka,the ‘Yakanaje intrigues maestro’, whose legacies of betrayals,under former Governor Abdullahi Adamu created a fatal crack,which he now uses his advantageous position in Almakura’s government to unleash his reprisal vengeance, against his former master,whom he served as his Justice Commissioner and Attorney General!

This is the architectural tableaux of the raging political storms between all the star players and their cast of cameo supporting minions, flexing their satanic powers, as they victimize some of us, the docile peace loving citizens of the raped but anarchy trapped enclave in the poverty ravaged and percentaged segmented state, hostage.

Indeed,without fear or favour, the Nasarawa APC gladiators are acting like stereotyped Thespians, from some old movie scripts that resemble the epic exploits, from familiar genres,in the famous episodes of the popular James Hadley Chase’s spy thrillers,with Barrister Emeritus, ‘the Yakanaje Tricks Impresario and Double Agent’,now playing the famously ubiquitous James Bond, alias*007″ role in the new tragicomical masterpiece.

As a sophisticated and smart player in the mucky waters of the Nigerian dirty political arena, he became an instant hitman and a utility stunt maestro star player in the specially adapted sequel of ” The Spy Who Came To Dinner”, in Governor Tanko Almakura’s vulnerable Court of Power, Glory and Intrigues’,now impressively manipulating our innocent curiosity, as he holds Nasarawa State hostage, nay, poised to set it on cauldron of political confusion, fire and brimstones,to settle old grudges and unfulfilled stocks of reserved grievances, against his old boss and master, the former Governor, now out of power,favour and parasitic adorations, by ex psychopants and praise singers,who rely on perpetual emotional divisions and rancor in the society, to hypnotize their victims and reinforce their relevanve, using tactical powers of voodism, mixed with blackmails,as source of unmerited fame and distasteful livelihood!

Even as they abandon an old ally ,for new star moneybags and richer paymasters,alleged to be prominent inner cycle members of OBJ-cum-Marodana secret cult coalition forces,now on revenge mission, to secure a foothold against PMB,from the flagship state of Change, Nasarawa, by wrecking and sinking the ship, at its port of embankment,in a practical metaphor akin to the organic sinking of the Noah’s Ark, or the perished Titanic ,so that, President Buhari’s dream is dialectically derailed,as well as philosophically diminished, destabilized and destroyed at its take off base station,so observers alleged.

It is also alleged, that, Governor Almakura’s recent trips to Obasanjo’s Otta sanctuary, for homage, and the twin trips to China and Cuba, were all set up spy-like decoys,as part of a spy trek cover up tactics, to designated destinations, where the deals for endorsement of his successor was alleged to have been successfully consummated and sealed,after pledging to the three member Mafia Negotiators,comprising of three musketeers; viz: a retired multi billionaire Zamfara State ex Army General and an Obasanjo acolyte; an unpopular and troubled Politician and former President Obasanjo’s rejected subordinate,together with an innocent but famous business tycoon who. is the most vulnerably exposed recipient of the negative spikes over the demand for the transfer of the leadership baton to the Mafia’s anointed candidate,which Governor Almakura is defiantly poised to actualize, at all costs, even if it meant loosing the confidence votes from the state voters,for the APC, the party that gave him the escape route,from the PDP’s precipice and Jaws of death .

All said and done,the current stalemate has exposed Almakura’s concealed political hypocrisy and dubious loyalty to President Buhari’s dream project of positive change,which for long,would seem to have,with the benefit of hindsight, been a secret ruse and a mere lip service gimmick , now fully exposed as a sham.

Giving the prevailing scenario, many people keep asking in confused bewilderment, ‘why is Governor Almakura ,now poised for a showdown, against the masses, the same people who sacrificed their lives and protected him from his previous predators and old tormentors?

Now,this is where I will handover to the press, to uncover and investigate the greatest mystery in the annals of Nigerian political history.Why is Almakura doing this?

But the press,at least,those operating inside the state ,feign ignorance about the current debacle, which should not have come to them as a cryptic revelation, after all.

If other people exenonerate them, from being secret Agent of this mystery saga,I cannot, because, for a very long time, the ominous signs of betrayals against the masses, who toiled and sacrificed to promote President Buhari’s determination for policy changes, positive value and paradigm shifts in governance and structural realignments that favour the poor, would not feign ignorance that , Nasarawa State policy makers have for long, remained favourite masterminds of anti people’s power and freedom of choice and are not amenable to all the legacies and provisions of Democratic traditions.

In specific terms, while some journalists in the state have shown remarkable resilience to professionally expose several sordid affairs and unsavory manipulations of the system, with several been traumatised and physically assaulted, several others prefer to serve as dormant good boys and obedient servants,as well as sponsored gatekeepers of the power brokers in the state system,who luxuriate from small bail out favours

In deed, several of the pressmen cannot be dignified,nor crowned with the noble title of professional journalism, as they are nothing more than glorified ghost writers and practitioners of a new bastardized form of journalism, long nicknamed and tagged as “Government House Teleguided Protocol Journalists” whose products are professionally inferior and at variance with the generically investigative and facts-based version.

At this juncture, let me put our professional colleagues in Nasarawa State on trial, by exposing their shortcomings with a verifiably valid reference assignments which they have ignored to take professional action against, especially with regards to the so called local government elections which mandates reside with some notoriously discredited bootlickers and pro government political hasslers!

The APC State machinery is also dialectically disabled,paralysed and subjectively motivated to serve all the manipulative vagaries of the power brokers in the state system, except for the State Secretary and a handful of credible members of the Exco!
Imagine how the State Accountant General,who comes from the same Kokona Ward Constituency with me, frivolously engage in lavish spendings State resources to rig elections and sponsor candidates, which the press has not deem the sordi affair valid and reportable criminal offence for higher level of investigations, by relevant Agencies,at the highest level in the country!

Ditto for the case of the epic case of the controversial impunity that lead to the homicidal deaths of four (4) Mada Youths,caused by alleged Agents dressed in uniforms, embossed with the insignia of the Nigerian police force by hired touts, said to have allegedly sponsored by the current serving Member of the Nasarawa East Assembly ,who is also implicated in the illegal and unauthorised arrest and illegal detention of 9 innocent Hausa Fulani members of his constituency, by both the SSS , in Garaku,as well as at Lafia,for no other reason than display and show off his power and influence,as well as his perceived political clout and connection, as Governor Almakura’s alleged so called favourite godson!

We cannot conclude this piece without talking about the mystery of the contrived illegality of double standard involved in the unilateral creation of the Yakanaje kingdom,in favour of a single family title, against the noble interest of the majority Gwandara, Hausa,Gade and Gbagi, who are now subjected to instigative charades and. rebellious belligerence,by the Yakanaje cliques who naïvely ask traditional chiefs from Bagaji , Angwan Toni , Nike and other Hausanised Gwandara populated ethnic clans to repudiate any allegiance to the most Senior majority Gwandara Chieftaincy establishment in Karshi.

There are many other Mediaeval type excessive display of power ,which are generous scoops for investigation by truly professional journalists in the state, including the uninymous verdict by the entire masses in the state, who have adopted President Muhammad Buhari’s agenda for a direct,not indirect elelections.
Finally, the consensus of opinion and unequivocal message and demands declaration by the Nasarawa State people, is that, Nasarawa State is not for the highest bidder,but for the best candidate!
