Re- remembering Rufa’i Ibrahim

By Mallam Abdulkarim Mohammad Abdullahi
I read Rayyanu Bala’s tribute on late Rufa’i Ibrahim and felt sad that today was his nine hundred days. However I also felt proud of his ( Rufa’i’s) enduring attachment to an enduring icon of Talakawa emancipation politics in the mold of the combined spiritual traditions of the dialectical coefficients espoused in our Holy books, containing extant and unchangeable Divine messages, called; Torah of Prophet Musa(Moses)AS:/ The Gospel of Prophet Isa Bn Maryam,AS, aka Jesus; and the Qur’an of Prophet Muhammad Ibn Abdullahi, SAW, which episcopal traditions and epistemology other humans try to propagate for the salvation of Mankind, from the accursed devils, represented by social miscreants and misguided rebels and juveniles in the society.
This is the legacy upon which generations of humanity’s finest breed attempt to replicate the virtuous and prescribed code of conduct of civil and responsible civilizations, to which many people worldwide .attempt and try to emulate, including the likes of Mallam Aminu Kano. Sa’adu Zungur, Prof. Wole Soyinka , Dr. Yusuf Bala Usman, Balarabe Musa, Muhammadu Buhari and their disciples like our late friend ,the late Mallam Rufa’i Ibrahim and others that crossed my social paths, like Muhammad Kabiru Abubakar Dan Malikin Keffi, Isa Ibrahim Modibbo, late Ambassador Suleman Tanko Abubakar and Dr. Shehu Othman et all, who made up my team for the pioneering idealism and ideological praxis of the frozen Nasarawa Change Revolution at birth, during the take off CPC cloned change by Almakura,in the Buharian flagship State of Change!
In the end, and as my final take on this tribute to a great social justice motivated, the late Mallam, I send my, deepest apology, full of shame, to his widow, my mother’s namesake, Aisha Rufa’i and their intelligent and socially conscious son, my father’s namesake,
Muhammad Adaullah.

My wife Aisha, Bello Nasir, Sumayya Amar, Al- amin and my grand daughters- Hummaira and Lellah extend their sympathies!

To people like Mvendaga Jibo, his blossom friend, I sympathize and appeal to him, that, let not allow the ethno tribal bigots in our midst succeed with their sadistic and sinister agenda by telling them, that.as it was with you and Mallam Rufa’i Ibrahim, let no one put asunder what God had joined together from cradle to eternity, May the soul of Rufa’i Ibrahim continued to rest in peace, Amen!
