Engr. A A Sule Reiterates The Importance Of Media In Politics

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in
Nasarawa state Engr A. A. Sule has reiterated the importance of the
media in politics.
The APC flag-bearer made this known when officials of Media
Professionals for Buhari, Engr. A. A. Sule, Ta’al 2019 (MEDPRO 4
BUASTAL ), an affiliate of the Buhari Support Group Centre paid him a
visit at his campaign head office in Lafia, the state capital on
Monday.
Sule explained that for the politicians to reach the grassroots in
all their campaign activities it is necessary to liaise with the media
at all times so as to achieve optimal objectives.
He expressed his pleasure at hosting the group at this material time
of electioneering, pledging to cherish the relationship that would
continue from now onwards.
Earlier, the Convener of the group, Alhaji Rayyanu Bala explained that
the group had come to acquaint itself with the APC flag-bearer because
it was formed mainly to advance the interests of the APC and all the
party’s contestants in the state.
Rayyanu Bala disclosed that the group, Media Professionals for Buhari,
A.A.Sule, Ta’al and other APC contestants in the state, which was only
recently formed, would be unveiled soon and would welcome all APC
contestants in the state at the occasion.
The state Coordinator of the group, Alhaji Ibrahim Habu Suleiman
added that the group was established to consistently review and
articulate the campaign activities of President Muhammadu Buhari, the
APC governorship flag-bearer Engr. A.A. Sule, Ta’al as well as all
the other APC contestants in the state and present same in proper
media perspectives for public consumption.
The Coordinator maintained that the group would equally ensure prompt
and constructive engagement with the opposition at all times in the
media so as to guard the public against being misled about the noble
objectives of President Buhari, A.A.Sule, and the APC in general
through generating news and features for local and international
consumption.
Habu Suleiman also said that the group would undertake regular
advocacy visits to stakeholders and media organizations within and
outside the state to promote mutual relationship between the
candidates and the media outfits.
Other officials of the group present at the visit included the
secretary, Victoria N. Ikeano, Hajiya Saphia Ahmed, Abdulaziz Yusuf
and Ali Abare
