Let me start by acknowledging the fact the the open letter written to President Muhammadu Buhari by one Maiwada Dammallam was an eye opener and deserves the attention of Mr President. However, I think I should write to present an options on the matter.

Indeed, let me again stressed that from all sectors of objective media principles and content analysis and evaluation parameters , this critique of the arbitrarily propped up but impliedly proposed PDP controversial Presidential Debate , is a rich, timely and well articulated researched position paper ,presented with objectivity, profound advisory intervention and insightful coefficients , by a concerned and patriotic Nigerian, which I hope,all its recommendations will be seriously given deserved attention,as much as its conclusions get heeded to, by all stakeholders!

Mr. President, given the unrelenting and chronic mentality of the country’s media owners and principals,whose operators hostile and sectionally chronic and emotional attitude remain unabashedly unabated, ” there is no debate which can be objectively conceived and organised in this country , ‘by these compromised organizations ,which owners and active stakeholders and members ,predominantly constitute virtually , all the entire faceless PDP hidden persuaders and propaganda oligarchs “.

So, I wonder how and why,on earth , you still believe and think,innocently, that they are still men of honour,integrity and abiding principles , who will have no hidden motives or bias , nor have ulterior motives,or sinister intention for the debate?

Mr. President, if the truth must be told, you don’t need to participate in these ill- motivated debates, to prove your superlative achievements and your rollover positive programs for the future of this country and its long, PDP overlooked, and economically looted and overaped society.
But, Mr. President, permit me to suggest, that, if, earnestly and in truth, they want to participate in x-raying the Nigerian cloudy environment devastated by their self- inflicted corrupt perversions, there’s no debate in the world which can compare with the NTA’s reputably over rested ,or (is it arrested ?) vintage program, ‘POINT BLANK, anchored by the sagaciously competent Dr.Tonnie Iredia,whose professional integrity and moral credibility is beyond reproach, and at all levels of excellent testimonies in the global media outreaches!

Besides, it is an indisputable fact of historical records, that, at its peak of glory, Tonnie Iredia’s impact made NTA’s Point blank program ,the ultimate sought after program of choice, which favourable ratings is at par with its American and western European brands in the global broadcast transmission market channels, such as CNN, BBC and Aljazeera , amongst others.

Therefore, anything below NTA Point blank standard ,is a deliberately abnormal and Atikulatedly corrupt set up scam, motivated to inveigh and scandalize your indisputably unimpeachable legacies!

Finally, Mr. President! I must confess,that,sometimes, some of us get concernedly offended,by your seemingly untoward decision,to be cajoled by charlatans in the Nigerian dirty political environment, overgrown with cesspools of dirty Avengers, whose actions and activities are only meant to negatively rebrand you in their murky waters of filthy grimes and indelibly embalmed, saturated and unerazable criminal tattoos.

Pls,sir,seeing you arguing with looters and chronic spoilers does not increase your self esteem;but,rather,diminishes your superiority and magnificent status.
Finally, and all said and done ,let me conclude by reiterating these obvious facts:
The debates and media noise making have no relevance to the basic needs and interests of our rural peasants, who are your most passionate and committed supporters ;
Therefore, any discussions and use of media spaces that
negate issues associated with local contents are ultimately ultra vires and of no consequence to our collective pursuits and national mission!

Furthermore , and arising from the benefits of hindsight of the unruly tout like mob display at the presentation of the 2019 Appropriation Budget to the National Assembly by our beloved President, on Wednesday, 29th December 2018, which acts of hooliganism has exposed the sinister plots of the responsibility,-shrieked looters and ,allowing Mr. President to participate in their ill motivated debates would make their despicable and nonsensically sensational misconduct during the Budget Presentation session, a mere child’s play!
Therefore, there is no need,nor value, in giving honors to these dogs of’ below standard,’ no good home upbringing discipline’.

Mr. President , it is very sad to observe,that, the tremendous efforts ,sacrifices role as well as contributions of NTA towards Nigeria’s growth ,development and perpetual national and international glory have always been deliberately ignored and internally underestimated and overlooked, as invalid, in contrast to some superficially substandard foreign and local equivalents.
The Obasanjo- Atikulatedly corrupt syndicates and conspirators who freely and cheaply sold our collective media heritage to their friends and band of looters, in the guise of a fraudulent scam called privatization have ruined Pa Awolowo’s visionary doctrine of protective guidance, to help us indiginize the contents,as well as utilise the broadcasts media organs as veritable tool, to shield our culture, customs and traditions from becoming vulnerable and copycats victims of the current assaults and conscious addicts and amenable African consumers of Pan American/Western European and Asian values and judgementally debased , cultural and civilizational imperialism!

Every day, the NTA program mix are saturated with Nigeria’s interests, beyond emergency level of superficial debates, because, they showcase our collective pursuits and brand our unity in diversity, unlike the others, who pander to inferiority agenda complex, always disparaging our own natural identity, by dramatizing and pretending to be others!

Please, for our children’s sake,let NTA be our nation’smost reliably dependable national broadcast carrier, like the BBC is to the United Kingdom and Western European Countries.
Therefore, as regards my final take and recommendations on the 2019 Presidential Debates, NTA,both by virtue of its multiple professional integrity and experiential qualifications, deserve to anchor and take charge,while others may,under NTA Supervision, be assigned to some complementary roles,within their proven professional competencies,only
