Easter celebration: Time to emulate Virtues Of Love, Tolerance, Forgiveness- Engr Sule

The Governor- Elect in Nasarawa State, Engr Abdullahi Sule has described the Easter celebration as period for emulation of Virtues of love, tolerance and forgiveness. Engr Sule who stated this in message to commemorate Easter celebration enjoined the good people of Nasarawa State, particularly Christian folk emulate the good virtues of Jesus Christ on this auspicious occasion of the celebration of Easter.

According to the Governor- Elect this season represents God’s faithfulness, endurance, forgiveness and repentance, and the victory of good over evil,adding that this festival of commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, is a time to emulate the superlative virtues of love, sacrifice, forgiveness, peace and tolerance exemplified and demonstrated during Jesus life time.

He said: ‘We should use this unique occasion to show love to our friends and neighbors and assist the less privileged among us’ adding ‘We should refrain from anything capable of jeopardising our peaceful coexistence, cohesive and indivisible entity.

Engr Sule assured of government’s determination of safeguarding the lives and property of all, saying that security of life and properties we shall be the hallmark of his administration.

‘We will never toy or abuse the mandate given to us in anyway, we will strive to meet the yearnings and aspirations of generality of the State’

He further reiterated that his administration will create a conducive and secured environment, where every citizen of the State irrespective of religion or ethnicity will prosper while miscreants are brought to justice.

He then wish all Christian brethren in the State and the country happy celebration of day of resurrection of Jesus.
