The speaker Nasarawa State- House of Assembly, Hon Balarabe Abdullahi has described the victory of Governor Abdullahi Sule at the election Petition Tribunal in Lafia as victory for peace and unity of Nasarawa state. A statement issued by the press secretary to the speaker Jibrin Gwamna quotes the speaker Balarabe Abdullahi as saying that the judgment has further demonstrated that the judiciary is indeed the last hope of the common man.

Balarabe Abdullahi who lauded the panels of judges for painstaking judgment that reflects the will and aspirations of the people of the state also appreciated all APC lawyers and INEC, Gov Abdullahi Sule, his Deputy Dr. Emanuel Akabe, the APC family and indeed the entire people of the state for the resounding victory which he described as a victory for democracy.
The speaker called on the people of the state to continue to pray and support the policies and programs of the government for the benefit of all.
