The Executive Chairman, Lafia Local Government Council, Nasarawa State ALGON Chairman and Deputy ALGON National President, Hon. Aminu Muazu Maifata has Felicitated with the Muslim Ummah on the Eid-ul-Adha festivity. In a message delivered to people of Lafia, Maifata observed that ed- ul- adha symbolises faith and total reliance on Almighty Allah as examplified by Prophet Ibrahim on his son Prophet Ismael.

Maifata also prayed for our pilgrims, who are in Saudi Arabia for performance of one of the major pillar of Islam.

He further prayed to Allaah SWT to accept all their hajj rites and supplications, urging them to also prayed for the well being and progress of Nigeria.

He called on travellers to drive with care during this festivity and avoid all forms of unwelcome practices that may jeopardize public safety and public health.

“While thanking Almighty Allah for His grace and protection over all of us and our community, Hon. Maifata also stressed that the season requires us to renew our faith in God and total submission to Him.

Hon. Maifata then urged the people of Nasarawa State to join hands with the government at all levels for the development and Progress of Nasarawa state and the country as a whole.
