Lafia-based Philanthropist, Alhaji Aliyu Bello has emerged as the new Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State.

He succeeded Dr. John Mamman who resigned from the position following his appointment by Governor Abdullahi Sule as the Commissioner of Education.

Bello who has been sworn-in and administered oath of office in a brief ceremony held in Lafia was before his emergence as chairman was APC state Secretary for 9 years.

Similarly, Mr Yairus Chegba Dagusa has emerged and sworn-in as the new Secretary of the governing party in the State.

In an interview the publisher of Nasarawa Eye Mal. Rayyanu Bala commended Engr Abdullahi Sule for finding Hon Aliyu Bello worthy of appointment as chairman of the ruling party in the state. Mal. Rayyanu Bala also praised Nasarawa APC stakeholders for ractiying Hon. Aliyu Bello as chairman of the APC in Nasarawa state. Mal Rayyanu Bala stressed that with Hon.
