Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule today attended the Funeral Prayer of late Hajiya Maimuna Usman Abdullahi, wife of Ohimege Opanda, Umaisha, HRH Alh. Usman Abdullahi.
The funeral prayer took place at the Emir Palace Keffi, today Thursday.
Governor Abdullahi Sule condoled with the Ohimege of Opanda, Alhaji Usman Abdullahi and the entire Umaisha community over the demise of their Queen Mother, Her Royal Majesty, Hajiya Maimuna Usman Abdullahi.
The Governor who eulogized her good virtues said the vacuum created by her demise will be difficult to fill and urged the husband and the entire kingdom to see her death as the will of God and continue to pray for her soul.
The funeral prayer at the Emir’s Palace Keffi which had the State Governor in attendance, the Emir of Keffi and the husband, Ohimege Opanda among other dignitaries was led by the Chief Imam of Umaisha, who is the Khadi Shariah Court of Appeal Lafia, Hon. Justice Muhammed Yahaya Usman.
The Clergy who prayed God to forgive her shortcomings and grant her paradise as well as bless what she has left behind called on people to always amend their ways with God as death is inevitable and can come at anytime.
Hajiya Maimuna Usman Abdullahi a retired permanent secretary, Ministry of health and Health Lafia and the Queen Mother of Opanda Kingdom died in the late hours of Wednesday 30th of August, 2023 as a result of brief illness in Keffi living behind to mourn her many children, grand children and her husband, HRH Alh Usman Abdullahi the Ohimege Opanda, Umaisha, Toto LGA of Nasarawa State.
Many sympathizers has continued to trooped into the residence of the Paramount Ruler Alh Usman Abdullahi in Keffi to condole with him the entire family as the eulogized the good virtues of the woman described as a bridge builder in the society.
