Jubilations in Nasarawa State House of Assembly as over 100 casual staff of the House were presented with letters of permanent and pensionable appointments.

The Acting Clerk of the House, Ibrahim Musa, who presented the letters of the appointments to them alongside management staff of the House today Thursday tasked the employees on selfless service to justify the confidence reposed on them by the government.

The Acting Clerk commended Governor Abdullahi Sule and the Speaker Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi for accomplishing the dreams of the casual staff of the House whom he said some of them have served for over 15 years in that capacity.

“On behalf of the management and staff of the House we sincerely thanked His Excellency, Engr Abdullahi Sule for graciously approved the appointments of our casual staff into permanent staff, all of them, over hundred of them”

“Our appreciation also goes to our Amiable Speaker, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi who stood firm to ensure that no special slot or external candidate came from outside and this has help to see that all the casual staff succeeded and today am happy to say that we have no single casual staff left in the State Assembly all have been accommodated, we cannot thank him enough” he added.

Also Speaking, the Chairman Parliamentary Staff Association (PASAN) Comrade Suleiman Oshafu said their joy knows no bounds as the long awaited dreams of the casual staff has been fulfilled.

He commended Governor Abdullahi Sule and Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi for the wonderful gesture promising not to disappoint them.

Some of the beneficiaries showered praises on the Governor and the Speaker for making their dreams comes to realities promising to justify their appointments.
