Nasarawa State Government has been commended for the timely supply of food items to the 29 public boarding secondary schools across the state.

Director School Service, Nasarawa State Ministry of Education, Mr Yakubu Sylvester Namo made the commendation shortly after supervising the distribution of assorted food items to the boarding schools in the Southern zone at Government Science School, Lafia, Saturday 16th September, 2023.

The Director commended the State Governor, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule for the timely release of funds for the purchase of the food items as this will attract more students back to schools for academic activities.

Contributing, the Principal, Government College Lafia, Mr Michael Hussein, while commending governor Abdullahi Sule for prioritizing education assured the government of judicious use of the items.
