Member representing Lafia/Obi federal constituency Hon. Abubakar Sarki Dairy has distributed over 600 rams, clothes, food items, and cash totaling over N57 million to his constituents to mark Ed-IL-Kabir Sallah celebrations. Nasarawa Eye investigation revealed that the same food items, cows, clothes, and cash were distributed to his constituents during the last Ed-IL-Fitr Sallah, which was celebrated barely two months ago. Some of the benefiaries of these largesses who spoke with Nasarawa Eye commended the efforts of Hon. Sarki Dahiru, who is also the Garkuwa of Lafia, for prioritizing the welfare of his people over and above other primordial considerations. Speaking further on the efforts of Hon. Sarki Dahiru towards alleviating some of the basic needs of his constituents, Aminu Ibrahim, who is the chairman of Majalisar NEPA along Makurdi Road in Lafia, recalled how Hon. Sarki Dahiru provided employment to some youths in Lafia and Obi, which impacted the lives of many of them positively. Aminu Ibrahim, who said he is one of the beneficiaries of Hon. Sarki Dahiru’s empowerment policy, observed that his family has benefited immensely through the magnanimity of Garkuwan Lafia. While wondering how his life would be without the intervention of Hon. Sarki Dahiru, Aminu Ibrahim praises Almighty Allah for bringing Garkuwan Lafia into his life. On his part, the Wakinlin Dokan Lafia, Alh. Musa Lamino, also showered praise on Garkuwan Lafia for taking good care of the people of his constituents, adding that Hon. Sarki Dahiru will be remembered as one member of the House of Representatives who has never rubbished the needs of his constituents. He stressed that for many years to come, the people of Lafia/Obi federal constituency will live to remember these gigantic efforts of Hon. Sarki Dahiru.
