As Muslims the world over celebrate the festival of Eid Kabir, the Executive Director Humanitarian Affairs of the North East Development Commission, NEDC Mal Musa Umar Yashi, extends heartfelt greetings and felicitations to all Muslims in the North East and indeed the entire country on this memorable occasion.

In the spirit of the occasion which symbolizes sacrifice, love, obedience and tolerance, I appeal to all Muslims to continue to show love and affection to one another and support the Tinubu Administration in its determination to move the country forward.

I urged our Muslim brothers and sisters to also embrace the spirit of unity and cooperation, fostering solidarity and empathy within our communities and across the region through compassion, kindness and generosity.

May this special day bring peace, happiness, and prosperity to us all.
