The Nasarawa State Chapter of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) announces the introduction of “Nasarawa NIPR Roundtable” to members of the Institute, corporate administrators, politicians, academics, youths, women, public servants and the general public.
In a statement issued in Lafia by Media aide to the chairman of the chapter, Compt Joseph Attah, Shuiabu Usman, said Nasarawa NIPR Roundtable is part of the NIPR’s unswerving commitment under the leadership of Compt. Joseph Attah to improving image-making culture, public service accountability, leadership skill and integrity restoration in public service.
“Nasarawa NIPR Roundtable, a quarterly roundtable discourse will be on leadership and development, designed to feature key actors across all sectors and sections of development to engage with public relations professionals on matters of crucial relevance.”
“Apart from being a quarterly platform for discussions that harps on the role of public relations to leadership, resulting in development of the society, the Roundtable will be a veritable platform for current and emerging leaders to share ideas.”
The statement further noted that the Roundtable is conceived to deepen support for the government as well as raise public awareness about how to identify progressive leadership style and support same.
Nasarawa NIPR Roundtable will host its members and guests to interact and expouse strategies for effective leadership that is driven by strategic communication.
The statement added that the discussion roundtable is an initiative of the Joseph Attah-led Nasarawa NIPR to resuscitate reputation-building agenda of public office holders and other keys actors in the Nasarawa Project.
