Police operatives attached to Angwan Lambu Division in Keffi Local Government of Nasarawa state have arrested one Khadija Umar AKA Naira and two of her sons for house breaking and theft.

A Press Statement issued in Lafia and signed by the Police Public Relation Officer ( PPRO)DSP Ramhan Nansel indicated that the mode of operation of the criminals is that Khadija goes around monitoring residents of a particular area they want to strike, when the coast is clear, she uses two of her biological children and two other suspects still at large to carry out their nefarious activities.

“Consequently, two television set, two 6×6 mattresses, a gas cooker, and 12kg cylinder, a standing fan, Go Tv decoder, cooking pots, electric jug, refrigerator and solar panels suspected to been stolen items were recovered from the suspects as exhibits.” It added

The statement further stressed that the Commissioner of Police, CP Umar Shehu Nadada, have ordered a manhunt for the other fleeing suspects and directed the Divisional Police officer to charge the suspects to court for prosecution upon conclusion of the investigation.
