Hon. Aliyu Bello PhD, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State has said that he will continue to encourage the development of sports in Nasarawa state in whatever capacity he find himself.                                                       Speaking at his residence  in Lafia when he hosted the winners of the prestigious Governor’s Cup recently, Dr Aliyu Bello stressed that sporting activities are not only an instruments for development but also an instruments that makes people become united.                                      .      While describing unity as falcons of all kinds of development, Dr Aliyu Bello explained that so long as he remains alive, uniting the people will continue to be his number one priority. He pointed out that hosting the team in his house was part his encouragement towards boosting sports in Lafia.  He appreciated the the team for emerging an overall winner in the tournament and pledged his unwavering support and commitments to the team and the entire citizens of Nasarawa state. He further congratulated the team and encouraged them to continue putting their best so as to continue making the people of Lafia proud.

Those who graced the occasion includes, Hön Moh’d Haliru Arabo, the APC Chairmanship Candidate for Lafia Local Government Area (LGA), who also congratulated the team and assured them of his support when the need arises, describing Dr Aliyu Bello’s action in hosting the team in residence as demonstration of unity and commitment to sports development.
