The chairman of APC Nasarawa State, Dr. Aliyu Bello, has commended the conduct of local government elections in Nasarawa State. Speaking in an exclusive interview with Nasarawa Eye shortly after casting his votes in his Rimi Uku pooling unit, Dr. Aliyu Bello expressed satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of the exercise. He noted that the way and manner in which people came out en masse to cast their votes has proven that the APC is still the party to beat in Nasarawa State. He commended the efforts of Governor Abdullahi Sule towards ensuring successful conduct of the local government elections and towards providing good governance. He called on the people to continue giving their support to the government for the betterment of society, adding that without people’s support, nothing meaningful could be achieved.
Governor Abdullahi Sule is one politician in Nasarawa State who knows his onion in terms of playing politics consistent with the international best practices.” Dr. Aliyu Bello further added.
