Governor Sule to swear in newly elected council chairmen tomorrow

Governor Abdullahi Sule will swear in the newly elected local government chairmen tomorrow.

According to a statement issued by the Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State, Barrister Mohammed Ubandoma Aliyu on Sunday, Governor Sule will perform the swearing in ceremony by 8.30 am on Monday at the late Aliyu Akwe Doma Banquet Hall in Government House.

Dignitaries that are expected to grace the occasion include, Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, principal officers and members of the state assembly, Chief Judge of Nasarawa State, Justice Aisha Bashir Aliyu, members of the Nasarawa State Executive Council, as well as the Nasarawa State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Aliyu Bello, amongst others.

Recall that the Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission (NASIEC) successfully conducted local government elections on Saturday, November 2, to fill the vacancy created after the tenure of the former council officials expired.
