Nigeria Union Of Pensioners (NUP) Commends APC Chairman Dr. Aliyu Bello For Humanitarian Services

The Nigeria Union Of Pensioners in Nasarawa state have commended Chairman of ruling APC in Nasarawa state for his Humanitarian Services Speaking when the union officials paid a courtesy visit to APC secretariat in Lafia, led by Chairperson Mrs. Lydia Mariya said the Humanitarian Services being offered by Dr Aliyu Bello is worthy of emulation by all good people of conscience. This is contained in a statement issued in Lafia yesterday and signed by Special Assistant to the APC Chairman on media and publicity Comrade Alkhamis Ladan.

The statement said union expressed gratitude for appointing Haj. Halimatu Sanusi, their vice chairperson, as Special Assistant to the State APC Chairman on women affairs.

“The Chairperson particularly listed areas of sponsoring of less privileged individuals, including children of pensioners, in school as well as the focus of Dr  Aliyu Bello’s foundation on education and economic empowerment of Dr Aliyu Bello which must emulated by all.”

“In his response, Dr. Bello appreciated the union’s visit and encouraged their continued support for the party and government. He then announced the allocations of 20 JAMB slots, 20 WAEC slots and also requested for 20 christian female names to be included in his special Christmas package”

“It would be recall that Dr. Aliyu Bello’s philanthropic gestures are well-documented, including recognizing and rewarding outstanding students and empowering communities through his charity foundation” the statement further added.
