The Executive Secretary of NAPHDA, Dr. Usman Iskilu Saleh, in his determination to take the fortunes of his agency to a high pedestal in line with the health policy of Engr. Abdullahi Sule, visited ALGON chairman in Nasarawa state, Hon. Safiyanu Isa Andaha in office in Akwanga yesterday. Speaking during the visit, Dr. Iskilu said that the NAPHDA visit was primarily aimed at boosting health care delivery in Nasarawa. While expressing the determination of NAPHDA at ensuring realization of the goals of Engr Abdullahi Sule as it affects the health of the people of the Nasarawa state, Dr. Iskilu revealed that the visit to the ALGON chairman was to work out a synergy between ALGON and NEPHDA with the view to meet the yearning and aspirations of the people, especially with autonomy granted to local governments across the country. Responding, ALGON chairman Hon. Safiyanu Isa Andaha welcoming the NEPHDA team to his office, assured that ALGON in Nasarawa State will do everything possible to assist NEPHDA towards discharging of its statutory functions. He noted that the health of the people is paramount and no assistance from ALGON will be considered too much.
