Moved by compassion as examplifies by the Engr. Abdullahi Sule administration, the Executive Secretary of NAPHDA, Dr. Usman Iskilu Saleh, today donated some relief materials to the victims of flood disasters in Awe, Awe Local Government. Dr. Iskilu revealed that the donation was part of the humanitarian activities of his agency.
The executive secretary gave a donation in the presence of the Commissioner of Humanitarian Affairs in Nasarawa State, Mrs. Margaret Elayo, along with representatives of the World Health Organisation, ( WHO) observed that empathy and compassion are the lifeblood of a just and equitable society, adding that providing immediate relief during disasters fosters long-term development and empowerment.  He noted that providing disaster relief when natural calamities strikes or conflict disrupts was an essential services that no government could ignored.
