NAPHDA Executive Secretary, Dr Iskilu Recieves His Classmate At Al- Iman Private School Lafia

NAPHDA Executive Secretary Receives Classmate at Imam Private School, Lafia. The executive secretary of NAPHDA, Dr. Usman Iskilu Saleh today, received his classmate at Almam Private School, Lafia, who paid him a congratulatory visit over his appointment as executive secretary of NAPHDA. Receiving the delegation of his classmate Dr. Iskilu, who described the visit as heartwarming, says he will forever live to remember their union at the Al-Iman. While thanking Almighty Allah for his guidance, Dr. Iskilu said he was highly honoured by the visit. He observed that their smiling faces were a reminiscence of their good old days at Al-Iman. He thanked them for the visit and prayed to Almighty Allah to reward them abundantly, just as they also prayed for him to excel in all his endeavours.The meeting afforded them an opportunity to share fond memories of their time together in those days.

In another development, Nasarawa State Primary Health Care Agency (NPHCDA) Monday, flagged off 2024 Maternal Newborn and Child Health Week. Speaking at the occasion, NAPHDA Executive Secretary, Dr. Usman Iskilu Saleh, stressed the importance of maternal and child health in the society. He pointed out that Nasarawa State happened to be one of the best in promoting the programme across the country. He commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for his unrelenting support of NAPHDA and assured that the agency under his watch will also live up to expectations. The state deputy governor, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe, who represented the state governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, who flagged off the event, maintained that the state government is more determined than ever before to support NAPHDA in the discharge of its responsibilities and assured that no efforts will be spared by the government towards boosting health care delivery in the state. The occasion was attended by many important dignitaries, including the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage Mohammad, ably represented by Hakimi Alh. Abubakar Mamser; the Commissioner of Health, represented by the Permanent Secretary; the Commissioner of Women Affairs, Hajiya Aisha Rufai Ibrahim; and the Executive Chairman of the Lafia Local Government, Hon. Aliyu Arabo, among others.
