As the Nasarawa state stakeholders meeting on PHC entered day two in Abuja, the executive secretary of NAPHDA, Dr. Usman Iskilu Saleh, has called for synergy between the health care industry players in the best interest of Nasarawa state. Speaking on day two of the meeting continuing in Abuja today, Dr. Saleh described the coming together of health care industry players as necessary and vital for the health of our people. He noted that Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration is ever ready to move the health care services in Nasarawa to the next level, calling on the health care industry players in the state to leverage this window so as to improve our health care services. The meeting, which has its theme as domestic resources mobilisation, Dr. Saleh expressed the confidence that some far-reaching decisions will be reached at the end of the meeting. He stressed that the support of all the local government chairmen in Nasarawa is crucial to the success of primary health care services in Nasarawa state.

While thanking participants at the Stakeholders meeting for their valuable contributions thus far, Dr. Iskilu urged them to work closely with NAPHDA for the success of the primary health care services, adding that their presence at the monthly PHC meetings will go a long way towards strengthening the system so as to achieve the desired objectives.
