Dr. Aliyu Bello said his charity foundation will continue to complement government efforts towards ameliorating the plight of the less privileged and vulnerable people in Nasarawa state.

Speaking while flagging off the distribution of cash, 20 wrappers to the Nigerian Union of Pensioners Women Desk Lafia as well as 30 wrappers to the vulnerable women from Federal Government College Vandegya, Dr. Aliyu Bello, who is the founder and CEO of the foundation, said his commitment to the problems of the downtrodden is total and unshakable.
Dr. Aliyu Bello, who is also the Nasarawa state APC chairman, reiterated that his foundation will continue to complement government efforts towards ameliorating the plight of the people, especially the vulnerable citizens.
He revealed that the cash and 20 wrappers were distributed to the National Union of Pensioners Women Desk Lafia, and 30 wrappers were also distributed to the women from the Federal Government College Vandegya, Benue State, as part of the foundation’s commitment to cushion their plight and to enable them to celebrate Christmas with bomb and pageantry.
He, however, explained that the foundation has, over the years, contributed immensely to addressing the needs of the people irrespective of political, ethnic, and religious considerations, calling on beneficiaries to always support government policies and programmes for the development of Nasarawa state.
Dr. Bello, who showed great appreciation to Engr. Abdullahi Sule for the tremendous success recorded by his administration and the APC as a party, said the foundation will continue to come up with innovative ideas that will accelerate more community development and participation.
The chairperson of the Nigerian Union of Pensioners Women Desk, Lafia Comrade Lydia Irekpeda, and Adamu Mohammed, who represented the women’s wing of the Federal Government College Vandegya, Benue State, appreciated the founder of the foundation, Dr. Aliyu Bello, for his magnanimity, saying this gesture will, in no small measure, help in mitigating their plight, especially at this time, adding only God will reward Dr. Aliyu Bello for his gestures and magnanimity.
