As Christian faithful worldwide are set to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, Senator Aliyu Ahmed Wadada has called on Christian faithful to emulate Jesus Christ. In a Christmas and New Year message made available to Nasarawa Eye in Lafia, Senator Wadada said this season is a season that inspires hope and love to all.

“Therefore, on this auspicious occasion, I wish all Christian faithful from the Nasarawa West Senatorial District, Nasarawa State, and Nigeria as a whole a merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.”

“I want to call on our Christian brothers and sisters, as well as other Nigerians, to emulate the life of Jesus Christ, marked by compassion, selflessness, sacrifice, and values that should inspire our daily actions, especially for those in leadership.” Senator Wadada added.

He observed that true love is all about putting others first and working for the greater good, a principle that should guide governance at all levels, saying, “Let us renew our commitment to fostering love in our homes, communities, and country.”

While assuring the people of Nasarawa West, Nasarawa State, and Nigeria at large that as lawmakers elected to enact laws that would bring about good governance and development in the country, Senator Wadada further stressed that he will continue to deliver on his promise towards making accessible basic amenities like clean water, electricity, quality healthcare, and social welfare.

He then prayed to Almighty God to, in the spirit of this season, inspire us all to work together for a future where every Nigerian enjoys the dignity and quality of life they deserve.
