The chairman of the Aliyu Bello Foundation, Dr. Aliyu Bello, has distributed wrappers and cash worth millions of Naira to the less privileged to celebrate the 2024 Christmas. Speaking during the distribution held in his residence along Shendam Road, Lafia, Dr. Aliyu Bello, who is the chairman of APC in Nasarawa State, stated that he has been engaged in this humanitarian gesture for the last five years and was moved to go into this gesture by the good spirit. He explained that his foundation did not only stop at educational assistance but extended to other humanitarian activities to alleviate the sufferings of the people.He pointed out that his gestures in this direction were part of his little contributions to the development and progress of humanity. Dr. Aliyu Bello, who seized the opportunity of the distribution of these Christmas gifts to dispel insinuations about the hardship said to have been occasioned by the president Bola Ahmed Tinubu policies, said that the hardship has been with us even before the coming of President Bola Tinubu. Dr. Aliyu Bello stressed that the only solutions to our predicaments in this country are for us to go back to Almighty God and for us to change our attitude. Citing examples of how some people manipulated the distribution of the wrappers to their personal advantage against the laid-down rules, Dr. Aliyu Bello noted that unless we change our attitude and go back to God, nothing meaningful could be achieved in this country. While commending Engr. Abdullahi Sule for his efforts in moving the state forward in terms of provisions of infrastructure, Dr. Aliyu Bello appealed to Nasarawa State citizens to support the government of Engr. Abdullahi Sule in the interest and development of the state.
