NAPHDA Pledges To Support Physical Planning Advocacy Group To Actualize It’s Objectives

The Executive Secretary, Nasarawa State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, NAPHDA, Dr. Usman Iskilu Saleh, has expressed his commitment to partner with Lafia Physical Planning Advocacy to actualise the association’s objectives and create a conducive environment to operate. Dr. Iskilu stated this today when the group visited him in his office to congratulate him on his appointment by Engr. Abdullahi Sule.The executive secretary, who appreciated the group for the visit, accepted to work with the physical planning advocacy group to improve the standard of primary healthcare centres in the state. Unveiling the agency initiative in partnership with the impact project to remodel 58 primary healthcare facilities out of the existing ones, Dr. Iskilu said that the remodelling would facilitate the state to attain universal health coverage.On the ongoing social intervention that the executive secretary initiated to assist the less privileged, he encouraged the group and other well-meaning individuals to support the needy among them, saying that whoever helps his brother in need, God will surely reward him. Earlier, the leader of the group, Adamu Aliyu Inda, expressed confidence in the ability of Dr. Iskilu to provide effective and quality leadership to the agency and commended the governor for appointing Dr. Iskilu to lead NAPHDA. The advocacy group leader who revealed that the objective of the group was to improve on the physical nature of the environment said the association was established by young professionals from across various disciplines who have a passion to see orderliness in the physical development of Lafia city. Inda also disclosed that the physical planning advocacy will plant 500 trees as part of their contribution to the development of the environment and assured that they will embark on a campaign for planting 3000 seedlings this year.
