Senator Aliyu Ahmed Wadada (SDP, Nasarawa West) has described the recent unwarranted killings leading to the death of seven persons at Tatara as inhuman and ungodly.
In a statement that he personally signed and issued to the media on Tuesday, Senator Wadada said the unfortunate incident in Tatara will never go unpunished as security agencies intensify efforts to unmask the perpetrators.
He stressed that as the senator representing Nasarawa West at the National Assembly, he will make sure the issue receives necessary attention from all relevant authorities.
While identifying with the families of those who lost their loved ones during the attack, Senator Wadada equally commiserated with the paramount ruler of the area, the Odyong Nyankpa of Panda, HRH Barrister Joel Sabo Aninge, over the loss of lives and properties as a result of these incidents.
He also extended his condolences to the entire people of the Tattara community and the Panda Development Area.
“I stand in solidarity with the people of Tattara in these trying times and assure them of my support at all times, particularly on issues of securing lives and properties,” Senator Wadada added.
Senator Wadada commended the proactive steps taken by the Nasarawa State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Governor Abdullahi A. Sule, adding that the military super camp to be sited in Tatara would go a long way to tackle the menace of cross-border crimes.
