Dr. Ibrahim Tanko has formally taken over as the Commissioner of Information, Culture, and Tourism in Nasarawa State. He commended the staff’s discipline and commitment under the leadership of Permanent Secretary, Barr. Yusuf Musa, urging them to continue this effort to ensure his success.

Barr. Musa assured Dr. Tanko of full support to achieve the ministry’s mandates and expressed confidence in his ability to lead in line with Governor Abdullahi Sule’s policy direction. After a management meeting, Dr. Tanko was introduced to the various departments and units of the ministry.

Prior to his appointment, Dr. Tanko was a lecturer at Nasarawa State University, Keffi, and had worked as a reporter with NTA and Press Secretary to the former Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly.
