Gov. Sule Directs All MDA’s To Patronize State Government Printing Press

Nasarawa State Government has directed all State Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), as well as private individuals and organizations, to patronize the newly remodeled government printing press. Governor Abdullahi Sule emphasized that the upgraded equipment can handle a wide range of printing designs and productions, competing with any printing press in the state.

During the commissioning of the upgraded government printing press at the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism premises on Shendam Road, Lafia, Governor Sule urged all MDAs to utilize the facility for official document publication. He stated, “With the commissioning of this printing press, MDAs need not take their work outside.”

The Governor also instructed the Office of the Head of Civil Service to issue directives to all MDAs to patronize the government printing press. He highlighted that the facility would also be used for skills training and encouraged the general public to utilize the center for such purposes.

Governor Sule tasked the Director of Government Printing with advertising the services to potential customers. He noted that previous attempts to upgrade the printing press since its establishment in 2001 had been unsuccessful, but emphasized his administration’s commitment to remodeling the facility and replacing obsolete equipment for optimal service delivery.

The remodeled government printing press is now equipped with various digital printing machines capable of rendering a wide range of services. Dr. Ibrahim Tanko, the Commissioner of Information, Culture and Tourism, assured that experts would manage the printing press to ensure proper utilization of the equipment.
