Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu has urged all his supporters across Nasarawa State to refrain from using abusive language and to avoid responding to any insults directed at him. Speaking during a condolence visit to the chairman of APC Nasarawa state, Dr. Aliyu Bello following the death of his son, Senator Wadada appealed for calm and decorum in all matters. He emphasized that there is nothing in this world worth dying for.
Senator Wadada, who described himself as an ordinary person, stated that he is not above being abused or insulted by his critics. He also noted that even the prophets of Allah were subjected to abuse and insult, let alone himself.
He pointed out that politics is a serious game that requires decent people to participate, adding that his philosophy in life is based on the simple fact that one day, he will not be alive. He observed that nobody can be sure of reaching 2027 and questioned why there was so much fuss about it.
While urging his supporters and well-wishers not to respond to any insults directed at him or engage in trivial matters, Senator Wadada also called for the avoidance of negative propaganda. He prayed for the soul of the late Bello Aliyu Bello and extended his condolences to Dr. Aliyu Bello, urging him to take heart in this irreparable loss.
