The ADG Care Foundation recently organized a large-scale training event for 6,500 women in Kano North, aimed at empowering them with small-scale skills to foster self-reliance.
The event took place in Garo town, within the Kabo Local Government Area of Kano State, and attracted women from diverse backgrounds who were eager to learn new skills and receive support in launching their own businesses.
In partnership with Fhuzee and Beyond the Barrier Initiative, the ADG Care Foundation launched the program as part of its commitment to improving the lives of girls in the region.
Engr. Rabi’u Aliyu Garo, Chairman of the ADG Care Foundation, emphasized the organization’s dedication to providing training in skills that promote self-reliance. He highlighted that the foundation’s efforts will not only help women develop their businesses but also significantly enhance their lives.
According to a statement from the Foundation’s Director of Communications and Public Relations, Aliyu Abdul Garo, the ADG Care Foundation is steadfast in its commitment to supporting education, healthcare, youth development, and addressing daily community issues.
