NAPHDA Executive Secretary Briefs House Committee On Health

The Executive Secretary of the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency (NAPHDA), Dr. Usman Iskilu Saleh, appeared before the House Committee on Health today to present the agency’s performance report for the first quarter of the year.

The session, chaired by Hon. Larry Ven Bawa, provided an opportunity for the agency to account for its progress and challenges in delivering on its mandate. Dr. Saleh was accompanied by members of his management team, who jointly responded to questions and provided clarifications on key aspects of the agency’s operations.

Hon Larry Ven Bawa emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability in the health sector, particularly as the state government under Engr. Abdullahi sule continues to prioritize improvements in primary healthcare delivery.

The committee is expected to review the report and make recommendations aimed at enhancing service delivery and institutional efficiency within NAPHDA.
