Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has condoled with his immediate predecessor, Senator Umaru Tanko Al-makura, over the recent demise of Alhaji Mamman Musa, father to the former governor’s second wife, Hajiya Mairo Tanko Al-makura.

Governor Sule, in the company of the Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State, Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, PhD, paid a condolence visit at the Maitama residence of his predecessor in Abuja on Sunday.

Prayers were offered for the departed, with Governor Sule consoling both Senator Al-makura and his bereaved wife.

On his part, Senator Al-makura showed appreciation to his successor for identifying with them at such a trying moment.

It would be recalled that Alhaji Mamman Musa Jos, father to Hajiya Mairo Tanko Al-makura, passed away last Tuesday in Jos after a brief illness. He has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
