Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu, popularly known as the Sarkin Yakin Keffi, has hailed the transformative infrastructure strides of Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi A. Sule, during a high-profile stakeholders’ tour of the Lafia Underpass/Flyover Project.

Describing the project as a “landmark achievement,” Senator Wadada praised the governor’s commitment to modern urban development, citing the flyover as a bold symbol of vision, discipline, and leadership.
“What we just witnessed is not merely construction; it is a reflection of vision, discipline, and leadership,” he told journalists. “Governor Sule deserves commendation for prioritizing infrastructure and raising the bar of governance in Nasarawa State.”
The Lafia Underpass/Flyover, one of the most ambitious undertakings in the state’s recent history, aims to ease traffic congestion in the capital, improve road safety, and boost commercial activities. Stakeholders on the tour noted that the structure is not only enhancing the city’s aesthetics but also laying a solid foundation for long-term economic development.
Senator Wadada, who represents the Nasarawa West Senatorial District, expressed confidence that the project would elevate Lafia’s standing as a key economic and administrative hub in North Central Nigeria. He further stated that such projects are bound to attract investors and inspire greater trust in the government’s development agenda.
“This massive infrastructure project by Governor Sule sets a high standard for those of us aspiring to succeed him,” the senator remarked, hinting at his political ambitions while acknowledging the challenge posed by the governor’s achievements.
In addition to the flyover, Senator Wadada also lauded the governor’s recovery of funds meant for the state’s airport project, calling it a bold step toward accountability and transparency in governance.
He urged citizens and fellow political leaders to support Governor Sule’s vision, emphasizing the need for unity and cooperation to maintain peace and ensure the continued growth of Nasarawa State.
“The beauty of progress is evident in the heart of our capital,” Senator Wadada concluded, pointing to the underpass as a shining example of what focused leadership can achieve.
