Senator Wadada Mourns Passing Of OSU Ajiri, Late Halilu Bala Usman

Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu, representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District and a leading governorship aspirant, expressed profound sorrow over the passing of his beloved father and mentor. In a heartfelt condolence message, Senator Wadada conveyed his sympathies to the Government of Nasarawa State, the Nasarawa State Council of Chiefs, the people of Edege Mbeki Chiefdom, and the entire populace of Nasarawa State.

Describing HRH Alhaji Halilu Bala Usman as a “rare gem” and a “statesman of uncommon humility,” Senator Wadada highlighted the late monarch’s dedication to public service, peacebuilding, and community development. The late Osu Ajiri served as a former Deputy Governor of the old Plateau State before ascending to his revered traditional role, where he was known for his wisdom, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the cultural values of his people.

“He was a father not just to his biological children, but to the entire Edege-Mbeki people and beyond,” Senator Wadada said, emphasizing the deep impact of HRH Halilu Bala Usman’s leadership across both political and traditional spheres.

The senator urged the people to find solace in the late monarch’s legacy of dignity, integrity, and selfless service, praying that Almighty Allah grants him forgiveness and eternal peace in Aljannatul Firdaus.
