Amalgamation Forum has issued a strong appeal to Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu (Sarkin Yakin Keffi) to return to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and contest the governorship of Nasarawa State in the 2027 general elections.
This appeal was made during a well-attended event in Keffi, where the forum, under the leadership of Comrade Abu Wulba, unveiled a campaign banner in support of the senator. The gathering marked what many consider the early stirrings of a significant youth-driven political movement in the state.
Although Senator Wadada was not present at the event, he was represented by his Special Assistant on Political Matters, Hon. Hamisu Sabo, accompanied by other key allies including Hon. Idris Dansauka.
Hon. Sabo conveyed the senator’s appreciation for the support, highlighting Wadada’s longstanding commitment to grassroots politics and youth empowerment.
“Senator Wadada is grateful for this call. He remains deeply connected to the aspirations of the people, especially the youths who are the future of Nasarawa State. Your voices matter, and your appeal has been heard,” Sabo said.
Forum chairman Comrade Wulba emphasized that the call was not only political but a strategic move to secure the state’s future.
“This is beyond politics; it’s about securing the future of our state,” Wulba stated. “We believe Senator Wadada’s return to the APC will strengthen the party and provide the people with a credible, experienced, and capable leader.”
Political analysts have taken note of the development, interpreting it as a potential game-changer in the build-up to the 2027 elections. Senator Wadada, known for his cross-zonal appeal and track record of effective representation, could significantly reshape the political landscape if he heeds the call.
The forum’s endorsement reflects growing youth interest in influencing the direction of governance in Nasarawa State, signaling a broader push for accountability, visionary leadership, and strategic realignment ahead of a key electoral contest.
