From the moment he began his political career in 2003 when he first contested for the House of Representatives to governorship contest in 2019 to his 2023 senatorial campaign and now his 2027 governorship ambition, his hallmark has remained boldness, confidence, clarity, and creativity. Senator Wadada has risen as a prominent political figure in Nasarawa State largely due to these qualities. In retrospect, Senator Wadada began his political career in the House of Representatives, where he served with distinction. In 2023, he transitioned to the Senate, representing Nasarawa West. As Chairman of the Senate Committee on Public Accounts, Senator Wadada sponsored several impactful bills, particularly in education and healthcare. He notably pushed for the establishment of the College of Agriculture and Fishery in Umaisha (Toto LGA) and the upgrading of the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa to a Federal University of Mining, Engineering, and Technology.

His economic empowerment initiatives, such as distributing sewing machines and providing startup funds for women and youth, further reflect his dedication to inclusive development and self-reliance.
