The Senator representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District, Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu, is set to revolutionize infrastructure in Nasarawa West with the rebuilding of the Gadan Sarkin Mudu Bridge, a vital bridge in Gangaren Masaka Yara Ward of Keffi Local Government Area,2027 which has remained in ruins for over three years.

He announced this when he inspected the site over the weekend.
The bridge, which was once a critical link connecting residents, travelers, and traders within Keffi, fell into disrepair due to prolonged neglect, cutting off communities from economic activities and essential services but with this intervention by Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu, the vital link will get the attention it deserves, to connect communities and foster economic growth.
Senator Wadada’s commitment to the people is evident in his actions. This move aligns with his groundbreaking HEARTS Agenda, a policy document guiding his 2027 vision which is a testament to his vision for a prosperous Nasarawa State, where infrastructure is designed to last, with enhanced engineering and climate resilience in mind. Senator Wadada has begun implementing strategic components of the HEARTS at the senatorial level.
Residents are already celebrating the news! “This bridge is our hope restored,” said Mallam Shehu Umar, a community elder who noted that Senator Wadada is showing us the kind of leadership that listens and acts.
Gadan Sarkin Mudu is one among several bridges captured in Senator Wadada’s infrastructural response plan and earmarked for renovation as well as Araba Bridge in Laminga, Nasarawa local government area, Kori Kada Bridge in Ganuwa Keffi local governemnt area,, and Gadan Basa that links Keffi to Kokona local government area, all of which serve as key access routes for farmers, students, and other human and vehicular movement.
The remodeling of Gadan Sarkin Mudu stands not just as a physical construction effort, but as a symbol of visionary legislative duty anchored on service, preparedness, and progress.
