In a decisive move that underscores the importance of party discipline and due process, the Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gayam Ward, Lafia Local Government Area, has officially nullified the purported suspension of the party’s Nasarawa State Chairman, Dr. Aliyu Bello. The committee described the suspension as illegal, unconstitutional, and a product of bad faith.

The controversy erupted after the Ward Chairman, Ibrahim Iliyasu, and the Ward Secretary, Ibrahim Kwande, allegedly acted unilaterally to suspend Dr. Bello without consulting the wider ward leadership or following the APC’s constitutional disciplinary procedures.
