For years, the Keffi roundabout—situated on a busy Federal Government highway slicing through the town has been notorious for its chaotic traffic and dangerous road conditions. The situation reached a heartbreaking climax on December 4, 2024, when a tragic crash claimed 25 lives and injured 35 others, casting a pall over the community and galvanizing calls for urgent intervention.

Responding swiftly, Senator Wadada Aliyu leveraged his platform in the Nigerian Senate to spotlight the crisis. His impassioned appeals underscored the urgent need for infrastructural improvements and urged the Federal Ministry of Works to prioritize the construction of a flyover.
