In a move reflecting his growing stature on the international stage, the Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, departed the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Tuesday morning en route to London to participate in the 10th ALM Africa Summit 2025.
Governor Sule, who has been specially invited as a Speaker and Distinguished Honouree, is expected to join a league of Africa’s most influential leaders and innovators during the prestigious summit. Organised by African Leadership Magazine, the ALM Africa Summit is a high-level event that brings together key policymakers, investors, business leaders, and thought leaders from across the continent and beyond to discuss Africa’s development trajectory.
This year’s edition, holding in London, focuses on the theme of “Repositioning Africa: Leadership, Investment, and Sustainability.” It offers a platform for African leaders to present new visions, share success stories, and explore strategies for economic growth and sustainable development.
As a speaker, Governor Sule will be highlighting Nasarawa State’s achievements and strategic goals in sectors such as health, agriculture, infrastructure, and industrialization — areas where his administration has made significant progress in recent years. His participation is seen not only as recognition of his leadership but also as an opportunity to project Nasarawa State onto the global investment map.
Beyond the summit, the governor is expected to engage with various business groups and private sector leaders on the sidelines of the event. These engagements are aimed at deepening investment interests in Nasarawa, especially in priority sectors such as healthcare delivery, agricultural innovation, solid minerals, and green energy.
According to sources within the state government, these sideline meetings are part of a broader investment drive strategy by the Sule administration, which has positioned Nasarawa as one of Nigeria’s emerging investment destinations.
Governor Sule, a seasoned engineer and industrialist before venturing into politics, has often leveraged his private sector background to attract development partnerships and promote investor confidence in Nasarawa State. His administration’s commitment to good governance, transparency, and ease of doing business has earned plaudits both within and outside Nigeria.
The 10th ALM Africa Summit 2025 promises to be a defining moment not only for Governor Sule but also for Nasarawa State, as it continues to position itself as a hub for inclusive growth and sustainable development on the African continent.
