Dr. Bello, APC Chairman Leads Condolence Visit To Nasarawa Speaker, Rt Hon. Jatau

In a solemn display of empathy and solidarity, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, Hon. Dr. Aliyu Bello, led members of the State Working Committee on a condolence visit to the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Daladi Jatau, following the tragic loss of his sister.

The visit, which took place in a calm yet emotionally charged atmosphere, reflected the party’s commitment not just to governance, but to the bonds that hold its members together. Dr. Bello, who also serves as the Governing Board Chairman of the Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC), offered heartfelt sympathies to the grieving family.

“On behalf of the APC family in Nasarawa State, we extend our deepest condolences to you, Mr. Speaker, and your family. May the soul of the departed find eternal peace, and may you all be granted the strength to bear this painful loss,” Dr. Bello said during the visit.

The Speaker, visibly moved, expressed profound gratitude to the APC leadership for standing by him during such a difficult time. He commended Dr. Bello for his thoughtful gesture and leadership, acknowledging the comfort such solidarity brings amid personal loss.

In a moment of candor, Dr. Jatau also addressed some of the undercurrents within the party, condemning internal saboteurs whom he described as attempting to sow seeds of discord. “Their efforts are futile,” he said firmly. “The truth will always prevail, and those who work against the unity of the party will eventually be exposed.”

The visit, while rooted in a moment of mourning, served as a strong reminder of the importance of unity, compassion, and discipline within party ranks. It also highlighted Dr. Bello’s role not only as a political leader but as a pillar of support in both public and private capacities.

For many observers, the event underscored the need for political organizations to go beyond the business of elections and governance to show up for their members as a family would in times of need.

As the APC in Nasarawa State navigates the complex terrain of leadership and internal dynamics, the hope is that gestures like this will serve as a template for healing, resilience, and genuine camaraderie among its ranks.
