Wadada Connect Movement Rallies Support For Senator Wadada’s 2027 Gubernatorial Bid

A political support group known as Wadada Connect has intensified efforts to project Senator Ahmed Wadada as the next governor of Nasarawa State in 2027, following a high-profile strategic meeting held today, Tuesday, at its office headquarters in Lafia.

The gathering drew influential stakeholders, including, Dr Samuel Agidi, former Deputy Controller General of Nigerian Prison Service, Saraya Agidi former president NCWS Nasarawa state, Alh Danlami Kowanaka former Chairman butchers Association ,and APC Chairman Lafia, Hon Suleiman Tafida State Treasurer Wadada Connect, Hon Yakubu Ibrahim former majority leader Lafia East and Hon. Hanatu Daniel Agyas as well as Alhaji Tijjani Ahmed Abubakar respected businessman and owner of Suraj Oil and Gas, among others.

In a series of impassioned speeches, the speakers praised Senator Wadada’s leadership qualities, humility, and dedication to public service. They described him as a unifying figure with the vision and capacity to move Nasarawa State forward.

Retired Deputy Controller General of Prisons, Dr Samuel Agidi emphasized Senator Wadada’s track record of service, discipline, and commitment to justice, stating, “His background speaks volumes. He has served the nation with integrity and has what it takes to lead Nasarawa to greater heights.”

Alhaji Tijjani Ahmed Abubakar in his remarks, lauded Wadada’s contribution to youth empowerment and economic development. “He is a man of the people, a grassroots politician who listens and delivers,” he said.

The former NCWS official Sara Agidi highlighted Senator Wadada’s inclusive approach to governance and his consistent advocacy for women and youth participation in politics, noting that “he represents hope for a more equitable and prosperous Nasarawa.”

Hanatu Agyas also pledged their support, affirming that the movement will mobilize across all 13 local government areas to ensure victory in the 2027 election.

The Wadada Connect movement aims to galvanize grassroots support, mobilize stakeholders, and drive strategic engagement ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial race.

Senator Ahmed Wadada, currently representing Nasarawa West in the Senate, is widely seen as a formidable contender, with a growing base of supporters both within and outside Nasarawa state.

The meeting concluded with a unified call to action for all supporters to begin early mobilization efforts and spread the message of hope and transformation that Senator Wadada represents.
