The Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, on Friday, received the official report on the 2025 Hajj exercise from the State Amir-ul-Hajj, former Governor and elder statesman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu.
The presentation ceremony took place at the Government House in Lafia, where Governor Sule expressed deep appreciation to Senator Adamu for his leadership and commitment throughout the Hajj process. The Governor also extended commendation to the Chairman of the Pilgrims Welfare Board, the Executive Secretary, Malam Idris Almakura, and the entire staff of the board for their relentless efforts in ensuring a smooth and spiritually fulfilling pilgrimage for the state’s contingent.
Governor Sule highlighted the dedication and organizational competence demonstrated during the exercise, noting that the state has continued to set high standards in the management of Hajj operations.
“This administration remains committed to supporting our pilgrims and ensuring their safety, comfort, and spiritual upliftment during every pilgrimage season,” the Governor stated.
He reaffirmed the government’s resolve to continuously improve pilgrimage operations, urging the Pilgrims Welfare Board to sustain its high level of service delivery.
The event was attended by top government officials, religious leaders, and stakeholders in the Hajj exercise.
