Senator Wadada Condoles Mamman Daura over  Passing of Former President Muhammadu Buhari

Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu, representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District, has extended his heartfelt condolences to elder statesman Alhaji Mamman Daura following the death of his brother, former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Senator Wadada who paid a condolence visit to the residence of Malam Mamman Daura in Kaduna today, described the passing of President Buhari as a profound loss not only to his family but to the entire nation. He described the late President as a patriotic leader whose life exemplified discipline, integrity, and a deep commitment to national service.

“Late President Muhammadu Buhari’s life was a testament to purposeful leadership, personal sacrifice, and unwavering patriotism. His demise is deeply felt, and we join millions of Nigerians in mourning a statesman who shaped the course of our national politics for decades,” Senator Wadada stated.

The Senator also extended his sympathies to the government and people of Katsina State, noting that the late President’s contributions to Nigeria’s democratic development, national security, and anti-corruption reforms will remain etched in the nation’s history.

While praying for the peaceful repose of the deceased, Senator Wadada urged the family—especially Alhaji Mamman Daura—to take solace in the enduring legacy of service and honour left behind by the late President.

“May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and give the family the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss,” he added.
