
In a good gesture of sympathy and respect, Dr. Usman Iskilu Saleh, the Executive Secretary of the Nasarawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency (NAPHDA), visited the family of the late Ustaz Rufa’i Ahmad Tijjani, PhD, at their residence in Gidan Mallam Liman, Tudun Mangoro, Lafia. The visit was to express condolences and honor the legacy of a distinguished educator and Islamic scholar who passed away on Friday.
The late Ustaz Rufa’i Ahmad Tijjani was a revered figure in Nasarawa State’s educational and religious circles. He served with distinction as the Principal of Al’Iman School, Lafia, before advancing to academia as a Lecturer in the Department of Islamic Studies at Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK). His work profoundly impacted students and the broader community, earning him wide respect and admiration.
Dr. Iskilu described the death of the late Ustaz Rufa’i as a significant loss not only to his immediate family but to the people of Nasarawa State and the wider Muslim community. He highlighted the late scholar’s vital roles and enduring contributions to society, emphasizing his dedication to the promotion of Islamic knowledge and values.
In his prayer, the Executive Secretary beseeched Almighty Allah to forgive the departed soul, granting him Aljannatul Firdausi, the highest paradise in Islamic belief. He also prayed for peace, guidance, and unity within the Muslim Ummah.
